Neil brings his 30 years’ experience as an owner and executive in the formulation, manufacturing, quality systems and sales of nutraceuticals and botanical extract products.  His areas of expertise include supporting companies at the executive level from start-up through the accelerated growth phase with focus on both internal and external growth of the company. His professional experience includes the development, implementation, production management, and launch of nutritional products in all distribution channels including building a nutraceutical products company from $2MM to $150MM in annual sales. He created, launched, and managed over 260 botanical SKUs including house store brands for large chains like Costco, CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart. Neil oversees this internal and external growth of the company while incorporating his knowledge of dietary and nutritional products manufacturing and quality assurance with an understanding of industry regulations such as CFR 21 Part 111. He leads an experienced executive team in all functional areas of the company.

Alex Seleznov

President & CFO

Alex Seleznov founded and designed the vertical integration of Advanced Extraction, LLC in 2015. An innovative company specializing in Organically produced Industrial Hemp Products that strives toward everything being done by working and living consciously. As President and CFO Alex’s responsibilities include VP level Operations and VP level Administration; complex reconciliations, solutions for increased profitability and systematically creating processes to improve efficiency. Also, he manages the most publicly known division of AE, Pure Hemp Botanicals, which has been recognized as a global leader in Hemp- based CBD products. Prior to the organization of the Company Alex was a financial analyst for Tagawa Greenhouse Enterprises, operating more than 2 million square feet of greenhouse space across three different states, and a controller for Seleznov Capital Advisors. He has over twenty years business experience in accounting and finance with the last seven years in the horticultural and cannabis industry. He is a board member and treasurer for the National Hemp Association and has appeared at numerous speaking events such as NOCO and Colorado AG Forum. Moreover, he has provided content and appeared in Greenhouse Grower Magazine, Hemp Industry Daily and Hemp Connoisseur Magazine as one of the “100 People you should know.”

Asa Waldstein

VP of Operations & Regulatory of APP & AN

Asa Waldstein, VP of Operations of Advanced Plant Processing and Alliance Nutra, is a Certified Clinical Herbalist (CCH)and a proven business leader with nearly 20 years of experience in successfully developing and deploying organizational change strategies across functions and divisions in the dietary supplement industry. He has dedicated his career to the intersection of clinical herbalism, bioavailable nutrient delivery, and scientific substantiation. Recently elected to a three- year term as a Board of Trustee member at the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) allowing him to continue moving hemp and dietary supplement regulations and compliance forward during this important time in the Cannabis industry. As well as a member of the AHPA Cannabis Committee, Sustainability Subcommittee and Government Relations Committee. Asa has a long history of helping to lead dietary supplement companies to success having dedicated his career to furthering herbalism, natural healing, and dietary supplement compliance. Asa’s education focused on ethnobotany, herbal therapeutics and natural medicine; skills now used when formulating and sourcing ingredients at Advanced Extraction, LLC. His specialties include complex dietary supplement market launches from concept to shipment, operations, production management, new sector development and FDA/FTC health claims and compliance to name a few. When working as COO at the nanoemulsion company, Quicksilver Scientific, he created the successful introduction of several new products, including a two-stage detox program, promoted uncompensated by Tony Robbins. When not at work Asa can be found wandering the Rocky Mountains wildcrafting medicinal herbs with his family, snowboarding, or traveling to remote jungles and beaches in search of bizarre wildlife and serene bliss.

Jason has also spent time working in the Financial Services industry and is adept at coordinating Financial and Management reporting and spreadsheets.  As Tagawa Retail Business Manager, Jason was responsible for managing $22 million dollars of retail sales with Big Box customers Home Depot and Costco.
